ABOUT US
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
Bharat Kisan Welfare Foundation was born from the vision of Kamera Chandramouli – a farmer, to improve the lot of small and marginal farmers like him. A native of Bellampalli – Telangana – an extremely backward area in Mancherial district of Telangana State, he studied degree, He later trained under Subhash Palekar, from whom he learnt about Natural Farming.
Influenced by his new found knowledge, he established Bharat Kisan Welfare Foundation in 2019 with the primary objective of introducing new methods of agriculture to poor and marginal farmers with focus on organic/natural farming. The organisation promoted an FPO (Farmer Producer Organisation) under the banner of NAPS Mancherial Farmer Producer Company Limited and later began to focus on the overall development of the farmer community with added emphasis on health and education. The Foundation currently has a presence in two districts of the State.
